I am considering buying a new M1 mac mini. My current 2014 model can output 1440p at 100hz via thunderbolt 2/displayport, but how would I get high refresh rates on the M1 as it only has HDMI, and I cant find a displayport to thunderbolt adapter?

You would need a USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

Problem is, that according to Video Support for the M1 Mac Mini, it is only capable of out putting at 60Hz.

My current computer is a 2014 mac mini and can run 1440p @100hz, but it is actually a 144hz monitor so I was wondering if the new one supported 144?
if you click on the spec link den.thed posted then it suggest the new one only support 60hz in any resolution
