How to download pdf attachment from email - usual options not there!?

I have an email for travel (passenger locator form) with a link to download pdf. The airline asks for the pdf to be uploaded before check-in.

However the usual options - save to file, books, etc - aren't there! Just share to reading list, Pinterest and dropbox. Latter two not a good idea due to personal data.

Any idea how to save this attachment? I am all out of ideas

Hello fg6993,

We see you're having issues saving an email attachment to the Files app, and we'd be happy to help.

First, locate the attachment in the email, and then tap on it once. Then, select the Share button in the bottom-left corner. Then, you can scroll through the list here. It sounds like the "Save to Files" option may not be in the list for you currently. At the bottom of this list should be an "Edit Actions" blue link, go ahead and select that.

If the "Save to Files" option shows here, but with a green '+' icon, tap on the plus sign. Then, tap on Done, and it should show up in the list to select again.

If this still doesn't help, restarting may help with odd issues that come up: Restart your iPhone

Cheers.
