Your watch can't be from 2014 as the Apple Watch wasn't released until 2015. Your equipment list also says you have a Series 6. Is that correct?
Only you can decide if you want to spend the money on a new battery for a Series 6 or spend the money on the Series 7. Does the newer version have features that are important to you? Do you have that much ready cash?

Personally, I have a series 4 that will need a new battery soon. I plan on replacing the battery and waiting to see what next year brings.
