imovie

my imovie (that i paid for) does not work with mojave 10.14.6 -

Any ideas?

iMovie for Mojave 10.14.6 Hi guys, I've read into as many threads as I can on this but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I have Mojave 10.14.6 (am not upgrading further right now) and would like to use iMovie. At some point I have downloaded it as is showing in the Cloud in purchases but if I try to download now it says I need 10.15.6 or later. Any ideas how to get a working version? I've tried getting iMovie 9 following various instructions but no joy. Thanks in advance. Bonnie

iMovie Since the last Mojave update I have encountered problems with iMovie: you can't get into the toolbar (purple cross lines). Video compatibility problems? Thanks for help

IMovie not installed as part of MacOS upgrade Hi, I have just upgraded my wife's veteran MBA which was running under 10.13 (High Sierra) to 10.15 (Catalina). All seemed to perform OK but then I noticed the total absence of iMovie. The original iMovie app will not work under Catalina as it was not 64bit. I downloaded a fresh Catalina and installed it to no avail... still no iMovie. There may well be other "bits" missing but I've not checked as yet. Can anyone please shed some light on this oddity and maybe advise how I can iMovie in there again? Very many thanks TT

I always keep my Mac OS updated. I chatted with Apple and they said that iMovie no longer works with Mojave. They said Apple change something. They said I had to update to Catalina or Big Slur to make a iMovie work.

I meant you may have to update iMovie.
