I erased my phone just using settings, when I went to configure it again it asked me for a password, I put in the one I had before the reset but it didn't work, is there a way to erase the password ?(iPhone X)

if you did settings - reset - erase all contents and settings - then it asking you to set up a new passcode, you shouldn't have to enter your old passcode.

if you did settings - reset - erase all contents and settings - then it asking you to set up a new passcode, you shouldn't have to enter your old passcode.
The passcode that you had to unlock your iPhone X and get to the Home Screen was erased with you performed the Reset (Erase All Contents and Settings). When you began to set up the iPhone again you ran into the Activation Lock. The password that goes here is the password to the Apple ID that you used on your iPhone before the reset was performed. You should have been presented with a hint of the Apple ID to which that password belongs.

My Apple ID password is alphanumeric one, what I see is just the standard apple six digit passcode and above it "iPhone requires passcode after restarting"
Do you mean that I started the setup put in a new password but didn't finish the setup ?(I see the flashing Hello's in different languages)
