The Apple TV app on Mac is part of macOS 10.15 or later [1] [2] [3].
Macs with macOS 10.14 or earlier will have to access Apple TV+ on the web at tv.apple.com.
Macs with macOS 10.14 or earlier will have to access iTunes Store movies in the iTunes application.
Macs with macOS 10.14 or earlier have no access to Apple TV app Channels.
