Ever since my wife's iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) got upgraded to Mojave, the screen saver using her photos library doesn't work. It works fine on my M1 iMac with Mojave. I have rebuilt her photos library, and in settings we see the photos. But she misses her screen saver and wishes she hadn't updated to Mojave.
What should we do?

Not quite. The whole photos library only switched between 4 photos. I pointed it to a smart album that showed all photos later than 1901, and that looks like it works.
