Unintentional erasures

I have an iPad mini 4-5 and I have created files in mail for storing tax, personal and business documents I want to save. Recently when I add a new item to my files all items in the files are deleted.

Hi, B24ert, and thanks for reaching out. We see you're having some issues with items removing themselves. We'll be glad to look into this with you further.

To begin, are you referring to Folders within the Mail app, or some type of actual files? When you do this, are you actually sending/receiving these documents in Mail? Or are you just saving them as drafts?
