Sudden macOS crash causing malfunctioning of the keyboard backlit

Without any obvious reason, the computer freezes and shortly after shuts itself down (with a short intensive fan noise). After restart, the keyboard is not any more backlit. The only help till now is the SMC reset procedure. This has happened many times in the last 6 months and is coming more often since the upgrade to Monterey.

Has anybody got a similar problem and/or can point me to the possible solution?

Intel Mac..? Intel —you can try Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

M1 Mac..? M1—You can try a SafeBoot , then reboot to test

You can try running the user Diagnostic—not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.
