I have MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) using OS 10.14.6. For now I just want to upgrade to version 10.15, so that I can upgrade my Adobe apps. How can I do that?

Important:

Backup First: To upgrade "For Now", be certain to backup*, then upgrade. Then, restore to the backup you created when desired. If you don't backup, pain though it may be, you'd have to format the drive, install it all anew, macOS and all.
