How to upload pics from iCloud to Instagram

Instagram is only letting me upload from my iPhone or iPad Camera Roll, but I don’t save copies of my art pictures to Camera Roll because doing so compresses them into lossy jpegs.

I don’t use a desktop, only my iPhone & iPad.

I used to be able to post directly from an image in Pixelmator for iOS by selecting ‘Open in another app’ then ‘COPY TO Instagram’, which would open the full version of Instagram & let me edit, crop, use filters, use tags etc.

But now Instagram? Apple? have removed the ‘COPY TO Instagram’ option & only left the very basic interface that only lets you hit ‘Post’.

But if I open Instagram & hit ‘+’ , while it gives me all the Instagram features like filters etc, it only gives me the option to choose horrible compressed jpegs from my Camera Roll.

How can I hit ‘+’ & then browse to iCloud where my non-compressed pictures are stored? Or is there some way to save images to Camera Roll without them converting to lossy jpegs?

Sync Through iCloud:

Use a PC: Seems you'd have to download them. And to do that, the best method is to perform that on a Mac. But, not being an option, then use a PC, instead. Once they are all downloaded, see if you can compress them, and then upload them to Facebook (if an applicable option). Enable Photos in iCloud Settings of your iPhone, and then access them here from your PC: https://www.icloud.com/photos . Upload them them from there to Instagram.
