In Monterey I seem to have a shade change on Tag colours and it is now hard to distinguish e.g. orange from red, yellow is now brown.
Preferences has no Tags option, so how to adjust colours of tags is the question.
Help before i go blinder please.....

There is no user color adjustment for Finder tags.
Review your choice of System Preferences > Displays color profiles, and/or Accessibility > Displays (e.g. increased contrast), or even that amount of ambient lighting on your screen — any which may shift perceived colors.

Seven colors you can see and an eighth transparent No Color (None). You can add custom tag names and assign one of these color choices to them. You can apply multiple tags to a file or folder, and you can find these via Spotlight with the following that requests PDF documents that have both tag colors assigned:
kind:pdf (tag:red tag:blue)
But in German language speaking countries where Tag means day, one must use the alternate form:
kind:pdf (kMDItemUserTags:red kMDItemUserTags:blue)

In Accessibility>Displays I unticked "Increase Contrast" and that did it. However, lost some contrast....
Pity I can't add colours to new tags, only 7 choices I think.
