FaceTime will not ring for me

FaceTime will not ring? I have read the previous solutions and they do not seem to be working? Even just did the update? The volume controls are not active when it is incoming at all? I can see the call, but it doors not ring out loud. Once I answer, volume works??

You might want to trey this article from Apple Support:


Change or turn off iPad sounds:

Says:

Set sound options

Set options for alert tones and ringtones, and ringer and alert volumes.

    1. Go to Settings  > Sounds.
    2. Drag the slider to set the volume for the ringer and alerts.
    3. Tap Ringtone and other options to select sounds for the ringtone and alert tones.

"Use tones and ringtones with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch"

Says:

Learn how to change the sound that you hear when you get a call, text, email,

How to change your ringtone

    1. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
    2. Under Sounds and Vibrations Patterns, tap the sound that you want to change.
    3. Tap a ringtone or alert tone to hear and set it as the new sound.


And / or

Set a ringtone or text tone for a contact

    1. Open the Contacts app and tap a person's name.
    2. In the upper-right corner of the person's contact card, tap Edit.
    3. Tap Ringtone or Text Tone, then choose a new sound.
