I can’t reset my password on my MacBook Air on the startup page. I’ve tried to reboot and hold Command+R also but nothings happening.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0

Hi khadijah100,

If your MacBook Air has the M1 chip (Apple silicon), shut down your Mac, then press and hold the power button (Touch ID) until Startup Options starts loading. Then, select Options and click Continue to enter macOS Recovery.

If your MacBook Air has an Intel processor instead, please let me know.
