Apple TV/Apple ID

My Apple TV has recently began prompting me to enter the password for an Apple ID that has been removed from the device over a year ago, multiple times a day (the Apple ID it’s prompting to login belongs to my ex husband’s, so you can see why it would be frustrating). In the settings, I am the default user and there are no additional users. I have reset the Apple TV to factory settings and I’m still having the same issue. Can someone please help me?

if one of the apps on the device was downloaded with his appleID you will need to delete the app and redownload it with your new appleID, otherwise every attempt for the app to be updated will forever require the old appleID
