iOS 15 safari webpage tabs

I’m very unhappy with the changes to Safari in iOS 15. I was able to figure out how to move the address/search bar back to the top of the screen, but is there anyway to change the layout for looking at all of your open tabs back to the “stacked” view (the tabs layered on top of each other like a filing cabinet) as opposed to the new “grid” view? The grid view is very inconvenient when it come to switching between and closing tabs compared to the old layout. I really hope Apple realizes what a mistake this “feature” is and defaults back to stacked but am I stuck with it until/unless that happens?
