Help with Word and Excel.

My Mac s running 10.13.6 . My Office apps updated, an error message says I need to have 10.15 or later to Word or Excel. There are no updates available at this time, according to App Store. Is there something I'm missing?? Am I **** out of luck ?? Don't use Word or Excel until IOS decides to upgrade ??

Any advise or help will be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft now requires macOS Catalina (10.15.*) or later for new Microsoft 365, or Office 2019/2021 for Mac installations. Attempts to re/install any older, retired Office product will fail as Microsoft has turned off the license servers, thus blocking activation.

If your Office 2011 for Mac is toast, consider the Softmaker Office 2021 product that is compatible with your existing MS Office documents, and your older operating system. It offers a free trial and would have a much lower learning curve than the free LibreOffice suite.
