Photos Disappeared

I imported my photos from iphone 6s to my macbook since Feb 2021.

Dec 2021 I changed my phone and imported my new phone to my macbook, however, my photos from my 6s is disappeared. I can't find anywhere on my mac.

Anyone has any idea why this happened or where did the photos go? Or at least who to ask :(

Thank you

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Hi

Is it possible you imported the two phones into separate libraries?

Hold down the option key while starting photos. Is more than one library listed. If so, open each in turn to see if they contain your missing photos?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I used iCloud Photos but it only contains several pictures.. I think not all of my photos are uploaded to the cloud, because I regularly import my photos to my mac.

Are your iPhone 6s still in the old iPhone or did did you delete them there?

As for this, I don't really understand what you mean, but I still use my iPhone 6s but I deleted some of the pictures I rarely use.
