Mirroring IPad Pro and/or MacBook Air v11.6 to TV

Hi. I am new to the world of tech and am very intimidated so forgive me if my questions seem infantile. I am wondering what products I need to purchase to mirror either of the two devices above to a smart TV. I know I need am HDMI USB-C dig TV multiport adaptor. What else? Pls provide specific products to purchase. Thx in advance!

Hello, no such thing as infantile questions.

Beyond the mentioned adapter, you would only need an HDMI cable to connect the adapter to the TV. No other hardware is required.

I use this one for both my Apple TV and my Mac and it works fine: UGreen HDMI 2.1 8K 48Gbps Nylon braided Cable - Amazon.com
