Apple Pencil 1 and iPad 9th generation

I recently bought an iPad 9th gen and Apple Pencil 1. When I’m trying to pair the pencil, the Bluetooth is not recognising the pencil under devices. I can’t even check if the pencil is charged. The pair up device pop notification does appear but pencil is not getting connected via Bluetooth. Please help.

Use the supplied small Pencil charging adapter to charge up your Pencil over your iPad charging cable and the Apple power/charging adapter block, first.

Should charge up enough in 10-15 minutes to re-test and attempt to Bluetooth re-pair your Pencil.

Good Luck!
