How to get DisplayProductID and DisplayVendorID

I have just got my MacBook Pro M1 Max and previously I had MacBook Pro with Intel. On both I have this problem with HiDPI resolutions with my external monitor Acer XB273U which supports 4k and I want the UI to look like 1920x1080 but be 4k - essentially I want 2x bigger UI, because everything looks so small. It is like the MacBook is treating my monitor as a TV. It kinda looks like my Samsung TV.

So I found this site that worked perfectly for my MacBook Pro with Intel - https://codeclou.github.io/Display-Override-PropertyList-File-Parser-and-Generator-with-HiDPI-Support-For-Scaled-Resolutions/

It did the job and I fixed it last time. Now I need to do the same. Unfortunately, when I try to get the DisplayProductID and DisplayVendorID with the command ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayPrefsKey that I found in this discussion I do not receive anything. As a matter of fact there is very little in ioreg -lw0 related to my display and I could not find anything useful.

Can you help me here? With the current settings my Monitor is close to being unusable

The command did not help me. It just showed what is the resolution and details which are available from Apple Icon -> About this Mac -> System report -> Graphics/Displays.

I ended up using SwithResX which detected it automatically (somehow). Then I was able to change the resolutions that I needed and now everything works as expected.

SwitchResX is paid so I had to uninstall it after the trial

from Terminal.app copy & paste:

/usr/sbin/system_profiler SPDisplaysDataType
