My ipad keyboard is fixed in left center of page and minimized. There is no bar at bottom. Spreading doesn't work. Rebooting doesn't change it. Deleting and reinstalling app doesn't work. What have I missed?

Let's try another basic "workaround". Try a "forced" restart of your iPad, using these instructions:

Thank you for your effort. I saw that before posting. No change. i wish I could post a screen shot to show that the keyboard doesn't have all its features.
Nope. I did the reboot before I posted.
Just went over to Instagram to take a screenshot. Behold! All fixed! Perhaps the mere act of posting here has fixed the problem? Thank you for toughing it out with me!
