Share Apple TV+ subscription working on iPhone but not PS4 app

A family member shares their Apple TV+ subscription with me, it shows as it being shared with me when I look under family sharing in settings in iOS, and the app works fine on my iPhone and I can stream there, however when logging on to the Apple TV PS4 app, it prompts me to subscribe and won't let me stream like it does via iOS.


I've checked the PS4 app is up to date, I've reinstalled the PS4 app, logged in and out multiple times and its still not allowing it. Is there something I'm missing here?

It sounds like you have done everything I might suggest.


Contact Apple. Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
