Wi-Fi won’t turn on
I’ve reset network settings and Wi-Fi will still not turn on. And My iPhone 8 needs a software update

I’ve reset network settings and Wi-Fi will still not turn on. And My iPhone 8 needs a software update
"Borrow" a different wifi network from relatives/friends/neighbors and see if your 8 can connect there.
If it can, the problem might be on your modem router settings (try to reboot it and test again)
If it cannot, make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
