May 28, 2022 - Left click on my 2021 MacBook Pro not working on both trackpad and mouse. I’ve updated the OS and re-booted the computer several times and it will sometimes work for a short time before it stops working again. Because it is both a trackpad and mouse issue, it seems likely to be a software issue, not hardware. Any suggestions for things to try beyond just re-booting? Thanks for any help you can give.

As a follow up, this problem went away (at least for now). It’s not clear what made it go away. I did run diagnostics, so maybe that did something.
