Upgrading from OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I just bought an Used Mac Mini Late 2014 with Yosemite.

I am unable to get OS update from App Store or any free app because it is not accepting my Logon which works fine for I cloud.

I have 2 factors in Apple Id login.

The suggested that I download OS and update via flash drive in a spare Mac...But I do not have another Mac. What should I do?

....because it is not accepting my Logon ....

That sounds like the seller did not properly prepare the computer for sale. See:

When you want to login on Yosemite, this cannot with 2FA enabled. I ran into that problem as well when my dad gave me his old iMac.

What you can do is go on your iPhone to settings>click on your name>password and security>click receive verification code.

Try logging in with that code in the place of your password. That worked for me eventually
