increase ram

I have a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) with 8gs of ram, I want to increase it to the max. what do I need?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.4

if you can replace the batteries in your TV remote control, you will have no problems replacing the RAM in your particular iMac. I have a 27" 8-core 2019 model which I upped to 64GB of RAM.


I would go to OWC’s website and shop for the RAM there. most experienced Mac users will only recommend purchasing RAM from OWC or Crucial.com. OWC also has install videos for most Macs. and that includes your specific iMac.
