Stuck in Headphone Mode

The Audio for my son’s ipad says it is connected to headphones. I’ve put headphones in both the charging port and jack, but it still says its connected to headphones after I take them out. Restarting and airplane mode didn’t work either.

Seems you may need to take the iPad to an Apple Store for help;


Apple support have an article online that suggests contacting Apple in such cases:

Eg: If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support


To visit an Apple Store, a Genius Bar reservation is recommended:
