Ethernet cable from Verizon Fios modem to iMAC not connecting

  1. iMAC running macOS Catalina v10.15.7 will not connect to internet using ethernet cable.
  2. Wireless connect works fine.
  3. Thunderbolt Bridge is inactive and can't change to active
  4. Rebooted iMAC and modem
  5. Modem lights up
  6. Fios internet speed is 300mbps

Can't find steps to active ethernet connection for faster speed

Appreciate steps to correct and connect.

Thanks

You need to contact Verizon and ask what steps it entails besides activating (choosing) ethernet connection in Network settings. I used to have to call so their equipment would recognize the device with the cabled connection.
