lost work in pages
I can't seems to find a paper I was working on. I've tried everything to recover it and I have looked everywhere in iCloud and pages.

Did you give the document a name and specify a location to Save it. This is a step that is prompted by Pages immediately on opening a new document.
Do you have Time Machine set up and running?
If you have, and have done the two steps listed earlier, Time Machine will save the current state of the document at frequent intervals, and you will be able to enter Time Machine to locate and recover the document at any previous stage.
Outside of Time Machine, you should try searches on the title of the document, and on distinct text that was used in the document. A look at the Recent Items list might also be useful.
