Why isn’t my Apple Watch tracking activity after I turned on activity on both my iPhone and my watch?

Apple watch tracks every step you take by default,there's nothing to turn on,can you elaborate a bit more about the problem you're having.

my apple watch stopped tracking my activity i am seeing virtually no activity being tracked on my apple watch. this is a recent thing. activity tracking has always worked fine
