Activity ring history disappeared after iOS16 & watchOS9 update.

Tracking activities from Apple Watch Series 7 (41mm) GPS+Cellular has been a regular habit to by 6 year old son. When he counted 88 ring close iOS16.0 and watchOS 9 update was released. We were so happy to update applicable devices we have and we really loved the new features until we found a bug really impacted my son's Apple experience. My son told me something is not right after update. All the activity rings he closed before the update disappeared and it did not fix with re-pairing the watch and updating his iPhone 12 mini to 16.0.2. Please help my son to get himself re-motivated by monitoring ring status on his wrist.
