Screen won't turn on, when receiving notifications.

Hello everybody, I have an iPhone 14 Pro and since a couple of days ago, my screen won't light up when I receive a notification. I just hear the sound. After tapping on the screen, I can see the notification.

Is there an option to turn the screen on when receiving a notification?

I need to mention, that I dropped the phone on the screen. Nothing is cracked or visible broken. Thanks.

Hello o0Yeti0o,

To help troubleshoot, test the behavior after restarting your iPhone and after ensuring iOS is updated. Taking these steps can help to clear up software issues. If the issue persists, reach out to Apple Support for assistance with investigating and resolving the behavior. Check out those steps here:

"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install."

Kind regards.
