Can’t access my WSJ subscription from Apple News

When I try try to view a Wall Street Journal article through Apple News, it says that my “subscription is not current“. However, my subscription is current and I can see all WSJ articles on the WSJ app. Apple News won’t allow me to access the login anywhere I can see to check the sign-in for username or password. I wonder if it’s using an old user name or password? How can I change the settings?

Hello Zimme2000,

Let's resolve the issue by completing the steps listed here: About individual channel subscriptions in the Apple News app - Apple Support that are also listed below.

"If you already subscribe in a publisher's app

Apple News automatically checks your Apple ID for active subscriptions that you purchased in a publisher's app.

If any of your purchased subscriptions are also available in the News app, you automatically get access to premium stories from that channel.

Access a subscription purchased on a publisher's website

  1. Open the Apple News app and search for the channel that you subscribe to.The "Already a Subscriber?" option at the top of a channel's page
  2. Tap or click "Already a Subscriber?" and sign in with the user name and password that you use for the publisher's website.

If you have issues signing in, contact the publisher."

Best regards.
