My email used to open all documents in pages. All of a sudden it has started opening in word. I cannot find where to change the default. Have tried some of the things I have seen on the community board but nothing has changed the default for opening documents from email.
Locate and click on one of the files that was opened in MS Word.
What is the file extension of this file? ( . and letters following that . )
Press command-I to Get Info.
In the Info panel, scroll down to the Open With section.
What application is listed as the 'Open with' app?
If not "Pages", click this menu and choose Pages.app from the list.
