My Watch went blank with a twirling sign in the center. I charged it fully this morning. It has the latest update. My iPhone says it cannot connect to the watch. I got my watch last Christmas so it is only a year old. I have put the charger connection back on the watch, but the sign in the center of the screen keeps spinning. Any idea what is going on and how to correct it? Thanks John H.

Maybe you can identify what the twirling sign is telling you:
eg: Could it be the red or green charging "lightning bolt".

Wondering if the watch actually charged ok:
or
perhaps the watch is caught up while performing an action that it can not complete: eg: pairing
You could try re-starting the Watch:
Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
