I do not want screen shots to automatically open in an email - how do I change that default. Has happened since Ventura 13.1 update.

Since I updated to Ventura 13.1, Screenshots automatically open in an email. How can I change that setting?

Change the location in Options.

First press command shift 5 to open Screenshot and display the tools.

Then click Options neat the bottom of the screen.

Then select something other than Mail in the Save To section.
