Does anyone know how home app works with Samsung phone as cameras set up in your home and how to access this information or recording? It keeps telling me to enter password that I set up with? And my Apple ID .. I never set any of this up..( bedroom named express in my home ( this home) app…Oh and hub? Thank You!

It doesn’t, not with a Samsung phone. The Apple HomeKit Home app requires an iPhone or iPad.

Apple HomeKit setup requires a ‘home hub’ to bring all the smart devices together for automations and ‘scenes’ under one online account. That home hub can be an Apple TV box, an Apple HomePod smart speaker, or iPad. Set up your HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV, or iPad as a home hub - Apple Support. Without that, you do not have a HomeKit setup.
