ll text messages to people who have Android phones. What is up?

I can’t text messages to people who have Android phones after updating to iOS 16.2. What is up?

You imply that you were able to send texts to Android devices before updating to 16.2. If this is the case, just check in Settings > Messages and ensure that 'Send as SMS’ is still switched on. This will ensure that when iMessage is not available on your recipient's phone, your message will be received as an SMS.  Please note that your mobile data provider may make a charge for SMS messages.
