Can't zoom in.

After I updated the MacBook, some downloads and personalized things are gone and the whole screen is zoomed out. Like where the top tabs with the file, edit, view, history, etc. are shrunk. Every app or website I go to is all small and I tried zooming, but it only zooms on the image on the screen and not the whole thing. I regret even updating and whenever I close the MacBook, it wouldn't turn off and I have to shut it off and when I start it to use it again, it will bring me to a login page as if I got it new and unrecognizable to me. Please help.

In macOS 13.2.1, visit Settings > Displays, and pick one of these choices for how your screen appears:
