Jio Wi-Fi Calling Issue

Hello everyone,

Good news

after updating 16.5 version my jio sim is working by wifi calling

But i am not sure whether it is resolved by updating latest version 16.5 or by network provider.

WiFi calls is a Carrier Specific feature. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you. Please see the pic below which is self-explanatory...

Note: If the Wi-Fi connection is lost when you make calls, calls switch automatically to your carrier’s cellular network using VoLTE (Voice over LTE), if available and turned on. See View or change cellular data settings on iPhone. (VoLTE calls also switch to Wi-Fi when a Wi-Fi connection becomes available.) Contact your carrier for feature availability.

When your iPhone has a low cellular signal, use Wi-Fi Calling to make and receive calls through a Wi-Fi network.

1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular.
2. If your iPhone has Dual SIM, choose a line (below SIMs).
3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling, then turn on Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone.

When I insert my jio sim to other phone Jio wifi calling is working . This indicates the issue is not with the Sim as WiFi calling is working , but issue is in iPhone

Whos the Internet Service Provider for your home?

Having already said; WiFi Call is a Carrier Specific feature...

If your Cellular carrier provider is not on good terms with your ISP (Internet Service Provider over WiFi) then you will have these issues.

Call them both and get this sorted out.

Neither Apple nor iPhone has anything to do with this

I am also facing same issues in my iPhone 13 after updating 16.4.1 version

the phone is supporting for airtel and other network for wifi calling except jio network provider and the same jio sim is working in other device for wifi calling so how can we say that jio is having this issues.

the issues very straight forward and i have tried all the ways that you are suggesting, issues is only in jio sim, not working in 16.4.1 and the same jio sim is working with any other device except ios.

this should be resolved as soon as possible as i was loosing my business and loosing faith in iPhone

Please provide next update as soon as possible with resolution.

I am also facing this issue from past 5 days Jio customer care and service station has no clue about it and I also replaced my Sim but it didn’t work and the same Sim is working fine with the Samsung S 23 ultra so it clearly shows that there is a bug in iOS update, so it’s my request to Apple to look into this matter as soon as possible. Thank you.

om my phone also Jio Wifi calling is not working but other Vi sim’s wifi call working , I thought it’s network provider fault , so I got my SIM card Replaced but it did not worked …

Its an issue from Apple software side …

Take action and provide us updates …

Yes. I am also facing the same issue. Jio Wi-Fi calling is not working after IOS upgrade 16.4.1. Where as Airtel Wi-Fi calling is perfectly working. When I insert Jio sim into Any android phone the Wi-Fi calling is working. Please fix this issue asap

My Jio wife calling is also not working after update .. it’s not jio fault , the sim is providing Wi-Fi Calling on other device …

This also indicates the issue is not with the iPhone as Airtel WiFi calling is working

Myself also facing same issue with jio sim after 16.4.1 iphone update..

tried all resets, ejecting sim and reinstalling. It never helped . Kindly don’t give these kind of bug with apple updates.
