How to export keynote slides and notes to an editable Pages or Word file

I have a keynote presentation with about 100 slides and presentation notes.

I want to redesign my slides to have fewer words and more images and move the words and presentation notes into a separate handout.

How can I export or extract the content from the slides and presentation notes to a pages or word document where I can make further edits and turn it into a guide or handout? Or is there a tool I can use that can extract the information for me?

I could do this in powerpoint, but can't figure out how to do it from keynote.

Keynote does not have an inbuilt tool to extract text from a Keynote presentation

The procedure I use is:

In Keynote, go to File > Export to PDF

In the PDF settings window, select Include Presenter notes

open the pdf in PDF to text or Document Converter available from the Mac App Store

convert and save to text file.
