Is it possible to move file between desktops? If so, how?

Can I move a file from one desktop view to another? If so, how would I accomplish this?

Thanks,

MacBook Air, macOS 13.3

You can move a Document window to a different space.

If you are asking if you can store files on the Desktop of each space, no. There is only one Desktop. I'm not sure why Apple chose to confuse things by calling them Desktops, but they are not equivalent to the Desktop folder.

Your question is not clear.

  • You seem to be asking two unrelated questions:
    • Your post's title says "between desktops"
    • Your post's body says "from one desktop view to another". I'm not exactly sure what this means - perhaps from one file format to another.
  • Moving between desktops requires knowledge of what type of desktop is involved, and what operating system and version each uses.

Is it possible to move file between desktops? If so, how?
