photo albums not transferred from iCloud on new macbook
- Hi there, I have just bought a new MacBook and my photo albums have not been transferred from iCloud -- only the library did. Thank you!

Wait a bit. Usually the albums will return, once the iCloud syncing is complete and all photos have been synced back to your mac.
You have checcked, if the album section of the sidebar has been expanded? There. is a hidden toggle switch to hide the albums in the sidebar of Photos. Hover the pointer to the right of the title "Albums". Then you will see a hidden arrow to hide or show the albums. Click the ">", if it appears. If the albums are not hidden it would be a "v"-
There may be a ">" to the right of "My Albums" as welll. Click it.
