Home hub update

Can you use set up a Imac as the home hub? Or any other apple device such as, MacBook air or iPhone12 Promax that stay at home?

Or any extra iPhones that stay at home as long as they still update?

No. Only Apple TV or HomePod can be Hubs. * iPad is no longer supported as a home hub on the new Home architecture
