I am no longer able to right click and get an option to 'copy link' to an image on my desktop in Monterey. This is really problematic. Any idea how to get copy link back again? Pressing Control and right clicking does nothing -
Still missing copy link option. Help much appreciated!
Building on previous posting
I have a Image File called Etrecheck Report on my Desktop
The image could be a image I got from the Internet or an image I created and placed on my Desktop
When I Right Click or Pressing Control that image
The Only options presented are in the Below Screen Shot
There is No " Copy Link " presented
Where is that image? Copy link only works in online images, for example in Safari. Other contributors are interpreting your question as being about files already in your mac. If you can clarify this, maybe we can all figure it out.
There is no "link" from a file on your Desktop. You can hold down the Option key and copy path, but there has never been an option to copy link.
If the link is to an actual file, open it in a browser to get like...
