Philips HUE lamps are not responding in Home app

Hi all, maybe someone had a similar issue?

Philips HUE works as a standalone app, but lights do not respond in Apple Home app.

What I tried:

  1. Sign out/Sign in Philips HUE app;
  2. Reconnect HUE Bridge device a couple of times;
  3. Reconnect Voice assistant (Siri) in Philips app;
  4. Delete the entire home and create a new one in the Home app.

Siris says that table light is not responding.

I can't turn the light on/off through the Home app.

There seems to be no connection with Apple anymore.

This started about 3 months ago.

Any ideas?

I've been having the same issue ever since iOS 17.2 was put out for iPhones and tvOS and homepodOS. I'd consider switching to nanoleaf, but they also use Matter as part of the integration. Wouldn't they have the same issue if it's a Matter integration problem? If not, then I'll probably switch too. Hate this because my Philips Hue worked PERFECT for the last two years until now. Such a disappointment.

I have a ATV 4K, HomePod, and 2 minis. To my knowledge owners are not in control of which device is the home hub. I’ve checked online and rechecked. Unplugged and reset everything at least twice. Apple checked my router and it checked out. I have colleagues who have equivalent HomeKit issues. We live under oligarchies these days. I’ve accepted I’m out money, time, and verbally recommending Apple products. Apple is a mess. Playing catch-up and constant band-aids. Not the company of years past.

I have this issue either when there's an Apple update or a Hue Light update. Both happened between today and yesterday so not sure which. Once again I removed the Apple HomeKit from my Hue app as a smart home. Then I waited a while and added it back again going to the Hie app and under settings go to smart and follow directions for connecting. Since it remembers the names I used then I just make sure they're in the right room. After that I remove the non responsive lights from home view and my favorites in the HomeKit app. A lot of steps on my phone but this way I done have to re add the bridge by using a code or the blinking light. Still none of this happily a few months ago
