How do I stop my MacBook Air (M2, 2022) from autobooting when I open the lid or press keys? I want to be able to clean my MacBook Air's screen and keyboard without having it on, but Apple seems to prevent that at all costs. I absolutely hate this feature!

Disabling Boot on Lid Open / Power Connection on MacBook Pro M1 not working I found this on the WWW. Disable Boot on Lid Open / Power Connection on MacBook Pro (2016+) 1.Open the Terminal, which is found in /Applications/Utilities/, and then enter the following command syntax exactly: sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00  2.Hit return and authenticate with the admin password (necessary due to sudo) 3.Exit Terminal when finished With AutoBoot turned off, when the MacBook Pro lid is opened, it will no longer boot the computer or turn the computer on simply by opening the lid. Additionally, connecting the power cable will not automatically boot the Mac. Instead, the behavior is like it was on earlier Macs, which can open the lid of a Mac without turning the computer itself on. Having done that, it does not work. Any ideas as to what to do to stop this annoying feature?

After being with Apple Support, this feature does not exist! Please do like me and request the feature since it is very annoying!
