I recently "upgraded" to Sonoma. I have immediately encountered all kinds of problems with Preview that I did not have before.
Zooming large TIFF files is painfully slow. This was not a problem previously.
I m getting frequent crashes when I resize image files.

Same here on a Mac Studio M1 Max: a Preview of a 11K x 18K pixel 1200 DPI tiff is initially rendered blurry and it takes ages to show it unblurred (which occurs block by block). On Affinity Photo 2 (or even old Photoshop Elements 2022) it is rendered immediately... No such issue on Ventura.
