removing time machine files from trash

Trying to empty trash that contains

some Time machine backup files but it is taking hours!!!

How did TM files get in the trash...

never advised to micro-manage this TM database....this will corrupt the complex backup database


You do not want to be accessing TM via the Finder, use the TM interface




You can try deleting from a SafeBoot

Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support


no resolve—if you have to disable SIP, then reanable SIP immediately after your action in complete.
